Barclay Butera
Designer Barclay Butera embraces this concept as he works with his clients to create for them a beautifully elegant and livable enviroment - their own personal haven.
The Barclay Butera brand has grown to include a national corporation featuring over 100 employees; three exquisite retail collection showrooms - under Barclay Butera Inc. (BBI) - that showcase his Barclay Butera Home (BBH) brand as well as several other top U.S. design lines; a manufacturing plant in Los Angeles; and proposed five Barclay Butera Home brand showrooms in 2005, two of which opened the first quarter pf 2005. The Barclay Butera Home line includes his signature furniture (distributed with over 300 retailers nationally), and will soon expand to textiles, lamps, accessories, and home fragrance.
BBI is based in Newport Beach , CA, home to the first collection showroom (7,500 sq. ft.). In 2002, he opened the 3,400-sq. ft. Park City, UT, store to help supply homes there with furnishings and accessories that help create 'sophisticated mountain living,' something not normally offered in a resort atmosphere. The 7,500-sq.ft. retail showroom in Los Angeles rounds out the collection showrooms.
The first BBH showroom is located next to the original Newport Beach collection showroom. The second one differs slightly as it is to-the-trade only, and placed in Los Angeles' highly regarded Pacific Design Center.
