The origins of the company date back to the beginning of the 20th century when the founder, Giuseppeantonio Palmerio, made in his work shop, small household objects for the people of Abruzzo, respecting their traditions.
Immediately after war (1950) the operations were transferred to Rome with an enlargement of production capacity and the gradual passage to the hands of heirs.
At the same time began also a diversification of the produced articles with the production of chairs, tables and lawn chairs.
The 1977 was the year of modernisation and of transfer of production plants to Oricola in the province of l’Aquila. Began the improvement of sales network, which enabled the company to position itself to national market.
Today is in act a comprehensive riorganisation and rationalisation with the introduction of machinery to numerical control, of automisation in several areas and of application of innovative systems of control and optimisation of human resources.
After almost a century from its foundation, Palmar is a company ahead of its time, which offers a production of furniture characterised by a very high quality, constructive accuracy in details and high reliability.
Furthermore, large quantities of timber always present in the warehouse, ensure a high production potentiality and a steady level of quality.
