E-Lite Technologies, Inc. is a privately held company founded in 1993. The principal engineering and development personnel were responsible for the development of Indiglo watch face technology at the Timex Corporation during the 1980’s, and acquired the patents and fabrication systems from Timex.
The company’s research, development, production and sales facility is located in Trumbull, CT. All FLATLITE Lamp materials are manufactured in the United States by E-Lite Technologies, Inc.
FLATLITE is unique among all other electroluminescent (also known as LECs or Light Emitting Capacitors) technologies because it is made in rolls and can be field fabricated with scissors and standard tools. It illuminates across its entire surface.
