At imadethat, we know kids love to 'do-it-themselves', therefore, we've created high quality, thoughtfully designed wooden furniture kits that kids can make. Our simple designs ensure a successful project, while your child develops problem solving, motor skills, and creativity. The inspiration for imadethat came when Stephanie made a window seat and table for her kitchen with some new power tools she had received as a gift. She was so proud of what she'd done and wished that she'd been exposed to building projects at a younger age. That's when we decided to start a business called imadethat. We realized that with the right designs, and a little help from an adult in their life, a child would have a blast building and painting their personalized accessory or piece of furniture and they would feel endlessly proud of their work. Each building project offers an opportunity to delight, teach, encourage, and bond with a special child.
