Keith Fritz Fine Furniture

We are a client centered company that has grown due to the incredible artistic talents of Keith Fritz and his team of highly skilled American craftsmen serving the needs of private clients and interior designers. In the rolling hills of Southern Indiana, where the old world traditions of fine furniture making have been passed down through the generations, we promise to create for you the antiques of tomorrow. These items will set the stage for your life and become your legacy to future generations. While still in high school, Keith became widely recognized as a child prodigy when he completed an ornately carved and inlayed Bombay Chippendale secretary with a dozen secret compartments. Upon graduation from philosophy studies in Washington DC, Keith Fritz Fine Furniture was founded in 1999 and soon became the favorite source of trend setting designers seeking a superior product and service to their most discriminating of clients including world leaders and celebrities. Our pride is that we provide a unique product of great value and a high level of service to our clients. The foundations of Keith’s Furniture: 1. Design - Keith Fritz is highly articulate in the verse of his craft, which is design. Through a sophisticated use of the architectural devices including form, scale, and detail, we are able to create pieces that serve our clients needs and articulate the classical ideals of beauty. 2. Wood - It would not be an exaggeration to say that Keith has a love affair with wood, the heart of his craft. He grew up in Southern Indiana in a forest of black walnut and cherry trees. As his father and grandfather would harvest trees, he would marvel at the incredible patterns that would be revealed. Today Keith selects the oldest, most stressed and troubled trees, which invariably yield the most striking configurations of grain. 3. Finish - A good finish should be richly receptive to the senses of both sight and touch; it should be lustrous, deep, and warm to both eye and hand. Most furniture produced today is boring wood masked over by unnatural layers of sprayed-on-color and pigmented stain. Our labor-intensive finishing process gives wood a natural chatoyance and glow that is rarely seen today.
