Kenshoma’s designer, Francesca Keck’s boundless curiosity and strong intellectual, spiritual, and artistic pursuits have fueled an instinctive desire to know and travel the world many times over. A passionate devotee of indigenous culture, she was driven to break boundaries and felt the time had come to meld age-old craftsmanship and contemporary art forms back home to the western world.
Within Thailand and Asia, Francesca discovered and identified an innovative synthesis of craft, sensibility, and tranquility that creates a new modern definition of Luxury. She found workmanship that appealed not only to her sense of style, but also to the burgeoning new-world view of community so present in nature. She observed long-established processes of artistry so intense they were meditative by their very essence.
