Tadpole Accessories
Tadpole Accessories was founded in 2003 by Anne Brush and is based in Knoxville, Tennessee. Brush began Tadpole Accessories as an extension of her interest in jewelry, art, and fashion. In 2002, the Tadpole Accessories founder and designer began making jewelry for herself after finding local and regional offerings unsatisfactory. Brush’s designs quickly became the envy of her friends, and after several months of cajoling, she agreed to sell some of her pieces. The demand increased, and Brush began offering her designs in exclusive trunk showings in the Knoxville area. “I am thrilled each time a customer finds a piece that she loves,” said Brush of her designs.
Designer Anne Brush
Designer Anne Brush studied art at the College of Charleston and holds a bachelor's degree from that institution. From childhood, Brush was fascinated by the fine jewelry and gems imported by her South American grandmother. Brush grew up surrounded by artists and considers herself a lifelong student of art and fashion. "I find inspiration in the style and beauty of my friends," said Brush. "Each major piece is designed with a specific person in mind." Brush currently designs two major collections a year, and offers smaller collections of seasonal pieces. In addition, Brush designs one-of-a-kind, privately commissioned pieces for Tadpole Accessories' sister line, Ramona Couture.
