Vitrium Tiles
Vitrium Glass Tiles
Vitrium hails from Bucks County, Pennsylvania; the home of artists, writers, playwrights and song writers. A community that has brought us Pearl Buck, James Michener and many other renowned people noted for their creativity and style. Add to the list, John Crossley, founder of Vitrium. Thirty years ago, John Crossley began working with glass in Bucks County. Trained in the art of glass melting and painting in Germany and Romania, he has become the premier American expert in his field as evidenced by his holding two US patents in the texturing of glass.
When John set out to renovate his Bucks County farmhouse, he wanted to use glass tiles that had vibrant colors, deep clarity, and a true three-dimensional look. Disappointed by what he found in the marketplace, John then set out to “make his own” glass tile. What he invented was a truly unique process to create the first deeply textured glass that had such clarity it produced a three-dimensional look. Now everyone can have this unique look through Vitrium’s line of New Hope glass tiles.
Imagine an exciting new alternative to ceramic tile. Vitrium's glass tiles are durable, color fast, scratch resistant and simple to install. A new product that meets and exceeds the demands of today’s sophisticated designer.
